Degree in Genova. After that he worked in London at a P&I Club, a City Law Firm and a Shipping Line.  1995 to 1996 he joined OT Africa Line as a legal consultant focusing on contract law and marine insurance claims.

He joined Piccinini & Associati in 1997 and became partner in 2000. His further interest lies in shipping and the international insurance markets. In 2010, he became associated partner at Schwenke & Partner.
